Gracefully Grayson by Ami Polonsky (book blog)

I recently read the book Gracefully Grayson by Ami Polonsky and I would really recommend it! This book is about a boy named Grayson Sender whos been keeping a secret from his family and friends for what seems like the longest time. Except he doesn’t think as himself as a boy. He wants to be a girl but is afraid to show it because he thinks people will call him “gay” and “bully him”. He made a friend named Amelia who doesn’t know his secret. Grayson’s doesn’t have parents anymore so he has to live with his aunt and uncle. His aunt and uncle are very supportive of him and he knows it.  One day he decides to try out for the lead role in a play that’s happening at school. This was my favorite part because he was very confident for doing that even if people thought he was weird. The only thing is the role he tried out for was a girl.
