In 10 Years From Now...

In 10 years from now I see myself being a chef and possibly having my own restaurant. I have always wanted to be the owner of a restaurant. I would also see myself dancing. At this point right now I cant choose between different careers but these are some of them. I also see myself participating in dances and being in a professional dance class. I have been dancing since I was in fourth grade til now so I think there is a slight chance of me being a dancer. Another career I'm interested in is baking. Almost similar to as chef but different. If I ever do become a baker I would like to open a bakery where people can request whatever they want there. Finally this isn't much of a career but I would like to be an aunt.  Those are most of the things I would like to be when I'm older. :)

Chaos With My Adopted Puppy

Once came a time where I thought that I was ready for another dog. I had a chihuahua for about 2 years but yet he sadly died from a car accident. So I basically waited around 2 years to get a new dog. My mom one day said there was gonna be an event at a lot of shelters called clear the shelters, which a lot of shelters were participating in so we decided to go to a shelter that was in Chicago ridge.

It was about 25 minutes away from where I lived. The adoption center opened at 11 am but we went at 8:30 am because we wanted to be really early. When we got there, their was around 8 people so we weren't in such a bad spot in line. While we waited my mom was talking to a bunch of ladies there and one lady specifically said she wanted a little puppy and we said we wanted a little one too.

Time passed by and those 2 1/2 hours were finally over. This lady who worked there came outside and said that before anyone can go inside and find a dog, we had to fill out an application before we went in. By now the line had grew and there was at least more than 30 people there. Once everyone handed back their application it was time to go inside. When they opened everyone quickly barged in.

When we walked i immediately noticed that there was so many big dogs. Probably more than 50 big dogs were there. We saw this really cute chihuahua but there was already stranding by it saying she wanted him so we couldn't get him. We looked for around 15 minutes and we couldn't find a little puppy. I then walked to the end of this aisle along with my sisters and there're was the dog that we wanted. It was a boy and his name was Joey. He was a shih tzu Maltese and unit was 1 years old.
We knew that this was the dog we wanted so my mom said yes and she went to go ask this really nice lady that we wanted this dog. This specific lady was really nice and sweet and she went to get a key to open his cage. When she was coming back with the key, behind her there was another lady with another key. She went up to the nice last and said that someone was already taking joey. My little sister immediately burst into tears because we all really wanted him and we couldn't get him.

The lady was very rude but on the other hand the nice lady felt bad and said that we could try looking for more dogs. But we looked for 15 minutes and we still couldn't find a little puppy. My mom said to stay here and see if he was really getting adopted or not. At this point i was about to give up and tell my mom if we could go home, but she said lets wait here a little more. So we did and then something happened. The super nice lady came up to us and asked if we still wanted to take him. My face immediately went from being sad to a big smile. We all got super happy but at the same time i was confused at why she didn't want him. In the end we signed papers and paid for his shots. After 6 hours we finally got to take our dog home which we renamed Cheeto. As we were walking out the lady was saying things like she still wanted her dog. So i thought she wanted him but they didn't let her for some reason. But in the end i was happy with my adopted puppy.
